Association Role

All parents/carers and staff at our school are members of our School Association.

Our School Association Committee is made up of elected parents, staff and community representatives.

It is the peak decision making body that determines issues important to our school including:

  • how the budget is spent
  • the values and beliefs of the school
  • the school policies and codes of conduct
  • advice to the Principal on the operation and management of the school

We participate in selecting a new Principal when the position becomes vacant.

We are incorporated under the Education Act 2016 with committee members elected each year under a constitution approved by the Minister for Education.

Our sub-committees encourage parents to participate at school through hands on activities that provide services, raise funds and contribute to school policy.
